R.C.A. Rubber Announces passing VOC testing for Commercial Flooring
AKRON, OH - The R.C.A. Rubber Company, a leading manufacturer of commercial rubber flooring, announces passing of VOC testing for the company's commercial rubber flooring products.
Flexi-Flor® Rubber Flooring was tested by an independent laboratory (ISO 9001 registered and ISO 17025 registered) for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) according to test protocols of the California “Standard Method for the Testing and Evaluation of Volatile Organic Chemical Emissions from Indoor Sources” (CA Section 01350).
Flexi-Flor® easily passed the test for low VOC’s, and is fully compliant with the Indoor Air Quality requirements for classrooms, as well as office spaces and medical facilities.
Because Flexi-Flor® is maintained without the need for sealers, finishes or dressings, far less chemicals are put into the waste stream and there are far less IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) issues.
A statement from the Harvard School of Public Health:
”The amount of VOC’s released from a single waxing of a floor is comparable to the amount of VOC’s released by a floor over its entire lifetime.”
Flexi-Flor® never needs waxing!
